Tuscany Golf Club in Henderson

A few months back my wife and I golfed at Tuscany Golf Club in Henderson. A pretty new course which opened in 2003.

What a treat.

What does the Tuscany Golf Club look like? Well it looks like Tuscany! It even includes an little Village.

The course has an amazing 68 bunkers........The 18th hold was a monster. 440-yard par 4......and no I didn't get par.

My wife still talked about Tuscany in Henderson. I think that is where she broke in her new clubs she got for Christmas.

Boulder City Golf Course

I was also able to hit the Boulder City Golf Course a few weeks back and wanted to make a few comments. Even though it is not the fanciest course it sure was fun!

My brother Mark and I were the first to tee off on a perfect weather morning. A few clouds but nothing to complain about.... There was a light wind blowing but that never hurt anyone......

Anyways.....I found out this course was established in 1936.....holy! Got to love the old greens! This was a walking game for us today.....needed our exercise.

On the 9th hole I almost eagled....no kidding......

Like I said it wasn't the fanciest course but for the budget minded it was not too bad.

That's what I like about Vegas........you can pick and choose your price range....

Bear's Best Golf Club - Excellent

Just got back from playing at Bear's Best Golf Club.

When I first heard of this club a few years ago, I knew I had to play a few....and I wasn't disapointed. Rated as a 5 star course and designed by Jack Nicklaus...this by far one of the best day of golf I'd ever had.

My favorite hole was #18.....450 yard par 4... although I didn't hit par it was a blast.

Pefect Las Vegas weather as well. A little cool in the morning but it warmed up after a bit.

Service was excellent and I could see that Bear's Best has a pretty top notch training program....and I love the mandatory forecaddies.....they really know the greens very well.

I highly recomend this course....if you can get on that is. As you can imagine its pretty tough to book a tee time but well worth it.
